Discrimination/Equality

The principle of equal worth of every person is one of the cormerstones of human rights. In th UN Convention on the Rights of the Child this principle is mentioned in Article 2, which states that all children are of equal worth and have the same rights, and that no child may be subjected to discrimination. Save the Children Sweden is especially concerned with working to prevent children from being discriminated against on grounds of gende, disability, or ethnic or social background.
